So, i took the handsome one out for a Valentine's Day lunch and we were both yearning for tapas after having some great ones the day before at Solaris. Needing to be in central KL to pick up some stuff for my latest 'project', we decided on Sentidos Tapas at Starhill for a late lunch date. We've been here before and we remembered the food was quite good and the ambiance, quiet and cosy (well, during the day at least).
Ok, so here's the dirt on the food. The tapas were pretty awesome. I loved the soft bread and the delicious accompanying olive oil and vinegar that came with herbs and fresh garlic. Absolutely dreamy! The Garlic Prawns and Grilled Eggplant in Tomato Sauce tapas were equally sensational. For the main course, we decided on the Seafood Paella (again!), but this ended up tasting pretty average. Any other downsides to this place? Well, no complimentary bread, the service could have been friendlier, and they even forgot one of our tapas, which we ended up passing up on, because we were already filled to the brim. Oh oh, and we both had RM15 pineapple juices that definitely came from a box or can. For that price, you'd think you'd be getting something fresh...
Would we go back? Definitely! But we'll restrict ourselves to their tapas.
