VJ's finally moving to Bangkok where he can do a lot to help the their economy. Who cares if he's not even doing it the legal way ;) Anyways, we were in Cloth & Clef at Changkat Bukit Bintang to catch his farewell and his band do their last gig here in KL. Don't Make Ian Cry. That's the name of the band. Well, you'd really have to know the guy to understand how the name came about. Fitting. They also played surprising well although Ian looked a bit shy at the start. But i think drinks helped him become more of a rocker as the night passed on. The place was also surprising tiny but cozy and cute.
Of course, the night had to start off... weird. Imagine me and Julie standing in front of a dodgy hotel on Jalan Alor in a short dress and high heels. Not good. Then we and Kevin Lunsong ate at a dodgy Thai restaurant which seems to nest half of the African nation, along with their bling-a-ling and D-cups. So i'll tell you what i told them - i do come here often, i just keep to the other end of the street.
