We liked Speed Racer! We maybe the few that actually do. Not for the story, but for the styling. It's crazy! The story got a abit draggy in the middle, but once the action of revenge kicked-off, the graphic and direction was like an outer body experience! But make sure you watch it in the cinemas, you need to catch the speed on big screen. Dvd will not do it justice.

It is based on a 1960s Japanese-manga-derived animated TV series, which some may not be familiar with. But big names are involved, with a cast of Emile Hirsch, Susan Sarandon, Christina Ricci, John Goodman, Matthew Fox. It is also written, directed and produced by the Wachowski brothers (and Joel Silver), more famously known for The Matrix. You will either love or hate this movie, but you cannot deny, the Wachowski brothers did it again. They always manage to do the impossible, the never done before. Crazy!
